While our events were always well attended, we did not have sufficient volunteers to fulfil key management committee roles and therefore we made the difficult decision to close in June 2024. We thank all those Landcare members who assisted with running of the organisation over the years and the general public who attended our events.
We were pleased to be able to transfer the organisations funds and assets to another vibrant local group – Friends of the Forest Inc. Many of our Landcare members have now also joined this group to continue improving the natural environment in our great region.
