Earlier this year Brisbane Valley – Kilcoy Landcare (BVKL) provided a small grant for a land care project on a small property, and now seeks applications for a second round of one or more grants, up to a total of $750. Applications close on 31 May 2022, and funds will be distributed in June to the successful applicant/s.
To be eligible, applicants must be a member of BVKL (or submit a membership application before or when a grant application is made). The land care project can be on a small or large property. Depending on the type of project, BVKL volunteers may be able to help you with some of the work, which may be a great way to kick-start a project, or to help maintain the work undertaken.
The below grant application form describes the criteria for grants, gives examples of potential types of projects, includes an email address for potential applicants’ questions, and provides information about places to buy native plants. Some of you asked for an application form for the first grant round, but didn’t apply – we encourage you to consider applying this time around.
Please click the links below to access the two forms – a grant application form, and a membership application form for those of you who aren’t currently members of BVKL.
