For the first time, Brisbane Valley-Kilcoy Landcare is offering a small grant to support landholders undertake a suitable project on their property.
The grant is open to landholders of small and large properties in the Somerset area and can be up to the value of $1000.
Possible projects include tree planting, habitat restoration, removing weeds, and cleaning out a section of a creek on their property. Our landcare group may also be able to provide volunteers to help a landholder implement the land care work.
‘We want to encourage landholders to implement land care projects, and this grant might help a landholder decide to go ahead with a land care project on their property’,Ross Brooker – President Brisbane Valley-Kilcoy Landcare
